Heartland Candidate Guarantee
As you would expect, Heartland Care Recruitment recognise the importance of candidate compliance and take every area of this as serious as you and the CQC do. We therefore have stringent systems in place and a Dedicated Compliance Manager that monitors and enforces standards whilst assisting candidates to remain compliant to work in the health care sector. As a minimum the following will have taken place prior to any candidate being made available for work:

Face to Face Interview
To assess candidate needs and suitability within their chosen field of work. Heartland Care use a specialist interview process that is proven to provide excellent candidate profiles that enable our team to match the right candidates to your Care Home or area of Health Care.
Referencing
All candidate’s work history is verified and reference checked up to a minimum of 5 years for Adult Services. A full background check is completed and verified from compulsory education until current for any person wanting to work within Children’s Services.
Application Pack
An in depth application pack is completed in full and checked at registration. We operate an open-door policy to all of our clients and welcome you to arrange a visit to view or audit these files at any time.
Skills Assessment
We use a specialist assessment criteria to match a candidates skills and personality to meet the requirements of both your residents and in-house personnel.

Enhanced DBS Disclosure
Using an online system to making the process quicker, Heartland Care Recruitment ensures that all candidates have an up to date enhanced DBS that is suitable to working with Adults and Children. These are checked online monthly and renewed annually. All candidate will have a clear DBS unless stated by the Consultant and a risk assessment has been completed which will be provided to you prior to accepting any candidate with any information.
Uniform and ID Badge
Our Health Care worker will arrive wearing Heartland uniform and display their photo ID badge unless otherwise advised.
Verification
Your dedicated Compliance Manager will verify all qualifications, mandatory training, nurse’s PIN, and any other training certificates to confirm authenticity. All training or qualifications that have an expiry date are monitored and checked as scheduled, whilst a Nurse’s PIN is checked monthly.
Candidate Profiles
Prior to the candidate’s arrival, a standard profile will be provided to you which includes; confirmation of DBS information, nurses PIN, training details and a profile photo. Should you desire a bespoke profile to include any further details, just ask and your consultant will be happy to add any other information you require.
